Physical activity

Some people may don't exercise, some people people do. In this template I will explain why physical exercise is good for our health. It will include what it does, how you can do you and how it's good  

A lot of people know when you exercise you lose weight but it lowers your blood pressure. Exercising also can Lower the risk of heart disease, heart attack and more. Exercising also helps with you brain by pumping more oxygen to it's, increases the size of hippocampus and helps with you memory.

There are many ways to exercise that even includes household activities. Basic way to do physical exercising are running and others  but swimming, stair climbing, tennis, squash, or dancing can count too. Household things like extreme mopping also count.

Exercising helps your brain with your memory and improves your mood and sleep while reducing your stress and your anxiety. Your heart rate and blood pressure goes down, which decreases your risk for a number of diseases you could get. If you don’t exercise you will have an shorter life.

Exercise is really important physical and mentally. Go out or a run, dance or mop really hard. It's not hard but also eat healthy or have an balanced diet.

Adverb Work D.J

1 - Adverb Challenge: In pairs come up with as many adverbs as you can without using google.


2 - Without using google, in pairs, create a definition for adverb i.e what is an adverb?
An adverb is a word that describes a verb (how, where when, to what extent and under what condition).

3 - Free write: Create a piece of writing in any style or genre you want. The key is to make sure it is quality. You challenge is to effectively use at least 10 adverbs. Once you have finished your writing highlight each of the adverbs in green .

Bobby eggs of steel walked out of his steel house quietly into a forest made of steel he was not supposed to go into. As he walked into the forest (of steel) he strangely disappeared. He woke up smelling like steel and walked on. The ground was steel and very cold and super hard and it was very tidy. Magicly he started to turn into titanium and hit he head on a magnetic (hanging from steel). He tried very hard to get his head off the magnetic but felt like he hardly done anything. Mr eggs of steel was finally able to get his head off and tried running home, but was getting sucked back by the magnetic. He got free of they magnets pull and kept running but sadly he fell into a hole. He woke up looking at his surroundings and noticed he was out and not made of metal anymore and could see his house. He ran and ran, he was almost there. He ran into his room as he was really sweaty and fell back to sleep.

Jimmy was a little boy when he was living with his dad (8 years old). His dad would always leave when Jimmy went to school. “Dad where do you go when I'm at school?” jimmy asked. “I go to work” bob replied. (Jimmy’s dad name is bob). “What do you do? Is it like school?” Jimmy asked. “well it's not really like school but it's fun.” bob replied. When it was time for bob to go to work, Jimmy decided to follow him and see what he does. By the time bob got to his work Jimmy barely made it. As Jimmy looked up what he saw amazed him, his dad worked at the zoo. When jimmy got too they entrance his school bus came and forgot that he had a trip to the zoo today. He got in line and hope the teacher didn't know he didn't go school, the teacher didn't noticed him and brings everyone inside. (Jimmy’s classmates where Jake, Tommy, Lily and Jeff. Jake was Jimmy’s best friend and not everyone could go to the trip.)

When the teacher took them to the tiger exhibit Jimmy could see his dad. “hey JIm isn't that yours dad?” asked Jake. Jimmy nodded. Bob was gonna feed the tiger a fish but as soon as the lion opened his mouth, it roared. The Tiger tried to eat Jimmy’s dad (bob). Bob ran around the cage trying to get enough time to go through the door. Lily threw a rock at the tiger to distract it but the tiger kept chasing Bob. After Lily was Jeff, he through a rock at the Tiger and then Tommy then Jimmy then everyone threw rocks at the tiger. The tiger was distracted so Bob took this chance and ran through the door.

At the end of the day Bob and Jimmy went back home after a thrilling event happened. Bob and Jimmy watched the news and saw the tiger gets set free. Bob was happy he got out alive and JImmy was happy bob got out alive too.

Museum trip

On Tuesday the 8/5/2018 the EXT group went on an trip to the Auckland museum. For they trip you where supposed to bring you lunch and a water bottle. We went on a bus to get to the museum and it wasn't to long (30-40 minutes). When we got there we walked into the museum, got introduced and split into to groups. The group I was in went to learn about the pacific ocean, our ancestors and other things (one of the things we got told us was we live in they only place that grow sweet potatoes).

For the next part we got split into three groups. Each group got too do one thing until we switched to do the next, they group I was in we look at old items from hundred to thousands of years ago (and photos of them). The second thing my group did was touching old items again from a long time ago, we had to wear gloves because the museum puts chemicals on the items to make them last longer. The last thing was making a case for common items in our house. I had fun doing these.

We had our lunch and had pizza to. After our lunch we got to go to a place in the museum. They split up the ext group into their years (year 5, year 6, year 7 and year 8 were in their year groups). place we went to was the volcano exhibit, their were rocks from volcanoes and we got to lift three rocks. There was a house we got to go inside and feel what a volcano eruption might feel like in a simulator house. In the end we went back on the bus and went back to school. I had fun at the museum.

There was a boy named rayde he lived with his mum and dad. As he was walking to school he saw something random happen, there was a man making something in his house. Rayde decided to see what it was, he didn't think it will take long as he lived close to his school. As rayde peered into the house the man had vanished but the thing was still their. The thing the man was making seemed to be a fridge, a vacuum, a clock, a potato engine and a photo booth. Rayde didn't know what they man was doing but he thinks the man is crazy. When rayde got to school he saw they same person jump out of a window into a bush, again rayde checked it out and he was gone. it was impossible for they man to just keep disappearing because every could see and hear him. After school rayde look into they crazy man's house and saw new things, a computer, a bag and alot more potatoes. As rayde got back from school he told his mother there was a crazy man stealing potatoes, raydes mother started to think he was crazy. He told his dad and but he said that's a random thing to say.

As rayde was getting ready for bed he saw the man again but rayde couldn't tell what he was holding, it was either milk, more potatoes or something else. In the morning rayde found a potato on his blanket, he found another potato on his uniform and another in his bag. Rayde told his parents there were potatoes in his room but when the looked there was nothing. He checked they crazy man's house again and now there were even more potatoes and milk but when he turned he was getting sucked into the house he looked back but he didn't see what was doing it. He hit his back on the photo booth and fell down. He got back up and couldn't get out as their was glass in the way. He tried to break it but the booth started filling with milk.

Rayde tried screaming for help but nobody came. He felt something touch his leg, as he looked down he saw potato. He searched through the milk and potatoes but could find anything. As they booth filled to his chin the crazy man stood watching him. The booth was almost filled with milk, what would rayde do what could he do. All of an sudden he screamed loudly, he was in his bed not in a photo booth but he could still feel something wet.

3D shapes

Room 4 was making 3D shapes
this cube has 6 faces and 8 vertices. a cube is a 3D version of a square and is like 4 squares together.

FiaFia 2018

On Thursday the 12th of April we had fiafia. we had to some in our school clothes and bring our costumes (I had to bring black clothes). There where many groups in FiaFia and my group was jump jam. While we where waiting for the other people and wait for thing to be ready, we could buy food and drinks (there was a tattoo stand too). when it was all ready we had to sit outside and it was cold and was raining, all the kids had to sit in the rain and wait for there turn same with the adults but had to wait for there kids. when it was some groups turn they were call up by a teacher to get into a big tent that covered the stage  and wait for there turn (after that you where told to go in the breeze and wait for your parents). in my group (jump jam) we got face paint (4 lines on your face > (='-'=) < ) and a bandanna (green or orange). I enjoyed fiafia and my favorite part was going on stage. The part I hated the most was sitting outside in the rain. have you been in fiafia? what group where you? did you like it?

we are learning about pollution and how we can fix it. I have made an animation about sea, air and land pollution. everyone is in a group and i'm in Environmentalists and my buddy's are Marshal and Tidus. everyone animation is kinda based off what there group is.

Today in room 4 we made shapes using clay. we had to make 3D shapes for the Juniors to use. I made three big spheres at the body and head, two cuboids and three small spheres, I made a penguin, I call him pingu. I made two others things, a snowman and a tree. everything getting a little broken mostly my snowman. if you could make a shape or thing  what would it be.

we had a talk about our attitude with tony your choices where otter (being a clown), lion (leader), golden retriever (makes peace) and a beaver (hard worker). I think ill be otter and golden retriever maybe lion. tony talked about where we get our things from. if you are tall then you may have tall parents or one tall one. he said that we can change by our choices, if someone is bad you can try help them be good. 

your actions can affect others.  I think that when we make a bad choice and keep doing bad choices we would eventually do things that will affect other people but if you apologize for what you did you might save lives (maybe not lives). If I were able to change time I Might change the bad things in the world it would make something else happen. if I could change something thing it would be everything that would be bad in the present time like thief's. if you could change something what would it be?

How to save money

How to save money
If you don't have a lot of money and you need some 
A good way to save money
Only buy things that your need like food and water not toy car's. Buy thing that are cheap and use little money as possible, only use money in dire situations or for things you really need. Sell thing that you don't need anymore in a garage sale. 

(If you want) sell your car and buy a bike to get to work, if it's a hour drive then keep you car and sell your bike. Keep your money in a safe place like a bank but if you don't trust it and think your money might get stolen buy a safe or make one yourself and put it in a place where you think no one will find it. 

Try putting your money in a toy that only you can open. If you follow at least some of these, a month later maybe you will be able to buy a new house, or car, or bike, or you didn't do these at all.

A bad way to save money  
Do not put your money in an gambling site as it might get hacked or someone might use it. Do not sell both your bike or car (if you have one) as it's might take long to get to work or other places. 

Buy things you don't need like toy cars. If you don't spend your money wisely eventually you will be poor. Using a lot of you're money at once by buying expensive cars, shoes or watches. 

(do not do this) rob banks.using a lot of power and always having the lights on and tap running. If you do some of this (I least expect you do to the gambling site) eventually you will be poor or don't have enough money to pay bills or buy food.

Ext Coding trip

On monday the 19/2/18 They year seven and eight extension crew went on a trip to digital nations 2030. We went on a bus to get there which took a long while thought. When we got inside we could do a lot of things (4-3 things).

First me and justice did tinkercad, he made a drill and I made an egg with eyes, arms, a unicorn horn, chicken legs, bunny ears, a tail and a beak. Second we had to program a robot to get to the end of a track or get points then get to the end. Then we had to do a quiz with 5 questions than we could freely do other code avengers games.

At the end we came back to school with 30 minutes left. I had a lot of fun at digital nations 2030, and so did every else we got to take a pen and paper home. I hope that Year 7 and 8 extension could do it again. I also won an t-shirt with doing they code avengers.

number groups

From 1-2 we colored in circles with different colors. we colored in 1 (The big red circle) with red and colored the other groups of one with red too. then we colored in 2 (two orange circles) with orange and colored in the rest of groups of 2. and we did it on and on.

When we finished  we had to write what color goes with what number. before that we had to draw what 36 would look that (there was only 35 groups. we also had to write a reason but we did it different.

First post of 2018

Hello, I hope you all enjoyed your holidays and Happy holidays and merry Christmas too. I have been learning a lot of things as a year seven and I got in year 7 and 8 extension. My home class and is room 1 (Mr Wisemen) and is my literacy teacher, Ms stone is my maths teacher (room 4). next week we start the Tekkit rotation year 7 and 8 go there at morning tea. every day we have to get to school at 8:00-8:30 for team assembly. Before morning tea we sit down (as a team) to watch assembly. Sometimes at lunch I go help Mr Vogt with something. on Wednesdays I go to extension to learn how to code and other stuff. sometimes with Mrs Stone We go out side to play a game like bull rush or other games. Yesterday on Wednesday we watched a Duffy show and it was about someone getting bullied, and about ready books.
