Deavay Green Arrow

Walt: Writing a story with onomatopoeia.

Task description: We had to try and retell a story using lots of Onomatopoeia. I didn't make this story up, its from a YouTube clip that my teacher showed me.

  2. Kia ora Deavay,
My name is Tania and I am a teacher who works at lots of different schools, mainly in Northland, supporting teachers and students using their chromebooks for learning. Your blogpost is very inspiring and an awesome way to share your writing in a different way. What a great way to hook me into your story! I loved the enthusiasm and expression in your video clip and you encouraged me to click on your link and read your story. I will share your example with other teachers and students and I am sure you will inspire them too. I hope they leave you some comments.

  4. Kia ora Deavay.
I am Miss Waho from Gilberthorpe School in Christchurch. I have been looking at ways my class can share their writing and I like the way you have used a video of yourself to introduce your writing. I especially like your use of onomatopoeia. It has inspired me to try this out to help my students in their learning.
